Baby Luke is determined to make sure Kasey experiences every bit of pregnancy possible. Hopefully this isn’t a sign of a stubborn baby to come.
Luckily, the doctor’s have decided they will induce labor late Thursday night, so Luke will be here by Friday at the latest. That’s seven days overdue, for those who are counting. We know family in the South will blame the cold weather. But Luke told us he really wants to be a Christmas baby. Kasey said NO CHANCE!
Turns out a pregnant belly has many uses. Not sure what Abby’s going to do when skinny Kasey returns.
Baby Luke is due on Friday, December 5. We had a doctor’s appointment and ultrasound today. They estimated that he weighs 9 lbs. 10 oz. Let’s hope their estimates are off, cause we were hoping for a 7-8 lb. baby. Hopefully labor will begin on its own really soon, but we have made an appointment to induce labor on Friday, December 12 if baby doesn’t come naturally before then.
Abby has been preparing to be a big sister. She bonds with baby by placing her head on Kasey’s belly.
