Grammy Jen and Aunt Sue visited for a wedding, so we got to spend a fun day with them.

Luke dressed up in his cute cowboy boots.

Grammy Jen read to Luke.

He really enjoyed playing with her.

Fun with Cousins

We got to spend some time with cousins Rylie and Tryston, along with Aunt Flo and Uncle Chuck. Luke loves his cousins!

They played on the swings together.

And raced each other up the slide.

Dan got them to do poses before sliding down.

Which resulted in some pretty cute photos.

The kids had a blast.

We visited again for Rylie's 4th birthday!

And the kids hung out together some more.

The boy cousins played trucks.

And the big cousins rode bikes.

Easter 2012

We haven’t posted in a while. Here was Luke’s Easter 2012.

Luke got a care package from Nana and Grandpa (Farris)

Then the Easter Bunny left candy at Grammy and Grandpa's (Windels)

He had an Easter egg hunt as well.

And lots of love from the family.

The weather was nice for the stomp rocket.

And windy enough to fly a kite.

Feels like summer

It’s been a while since we’ve posted. Sorry for the delay. Our back room (with computer) gets really cold in winter, due to lack of insulation. But it’s been feeling warm for the last couple of weeks. Here are some of the highlights.

Luke checks out the river, which is dyed green on St. Patrick's Day.

Nice weather means riding bikes.

And scooters.

Luke is quite the climber now! This is the big kids playground.

Luke's buddy Viggo and his sister visited from Austin.

His head is so big, this happens with every shirt!

Daddy taught Luke how to throw a football.

He did pretty good.

Found a windmill in the Fox River Valley.

Luke and Daddy ran like crazy down the hill.

Christmas 2011

We headed down to New Orleans for Luke’s Birthday and for Christmas this year. Here are some of the highlights.

We stopped at the Memphis Fire Museum on the trip down.

Is it just me, or does he look like part of the exhibit here?

Luke and Abby gear up for Luke's birthday party.

Luke loved his Curious George cake.

And he got so many great presents!

Then he got to meet Santa at Teri's Office Christmas party.

He was hamming it up for everyone there.

Salt and pepper = endless entertainment.

He helped Bella and Cappy decorate their Christmas tree.

And played a little backyard baseball with Grandpa, Nana, Gary and Steven.

We headed to the coast for the day.

And Luke played at the beach.

We were glad to have warm weather.

Plus, Luke loved getting to see all of his family.

Including his cousins.

I think he likes it in New Orleans.

Happy Halloween and Geaux Tigers!

While trick or treating this Halloween, we received some cheers and some boos (playful ones, of course). But most of all, we saw some dads who got a kick out of Luke’s costume. I am sure even more people would have loved it in New Orleans.

To get ready, we carved a pumpkin. Luke wouldn't touch the insides, but he was happy to look.

Coach Miles is excited to go to the Halloween Parade.

And he was very excited about the whistle.

I am sure the neighbors loved us for that.

After several pictures, he was ready to go trick or treating.

Oddly, he was less scared of this guy than he was of a giant "Elmo" he saw at the parade the day before.

After trick or treating, Abby and Luke helped us pass out candy.

All in all, it was a good Halloween.
