Here’s a few pictures of Luke in and around our house in Chicago.

New Orleans visit

Here’s a few pictures of Luke from our trip to New Orleans. Just when we think we’ve seen all the faces he can make, he uncorks another hilarious one.

Luke vs. Magazine

Monday, August 17th, 2009

True to form, Luke has found another in a long line of favorite “non-toy toys.”  We may need to subscribe to some more magazines to keep him in supply though.

Geaux Tigers!!

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

We made it to New Orleans on Monday after a 15 hour night time drive down from Chicago (including stops).  Luke was a champ.  He slept almost the entire trip and to our complete amazement didn’t cry once.  Since we’ve been in Louisiana, Luke has already had a couple of “firsts.”  On Tuesday he not only learned to get himself into a sitting position from  laying on his back, but he also pulled himself up to a standing position.  Walking is right around the corner.

Weekend in the city

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

Casey, Lauren, and Rylie came into the city last weekend for a visit. Luke was pretty excited to see all the things his older cousin could do…especially the “walking around” part.  Hopefully Luke didn’t pick up too many pointers from Rylie.  We’re just getting used to his crawling phase.

Lincoln Park Zoo

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

We took Luke to the Lincoln Park Zoo a few weekends ago to see the animals.  While he had a hard time spotting the bigger animals (lions, giraffes, etc.) he loved looking at the fish.   Good thing for us the Lincoln Park Zoo had free admission because Luke fell asleep half way through the trip.
