Since Luke isn’t old enough to make Halloween costume requests, we decided to have a little fun at his expense. He wore his costume to a Halloween parade last week, where he was a big hit with the adults. Tonight (Halloween night), we went trick-or-treating to two houses. Again, he was a hit with the adults. Enjoy!

Happy Halloween!
Saturday, October 31st, 2009Luke 2.0
Friday, October 30th, 2009Yesterday Luke officially started giving up on crawling as his “preferred mode of transportation.” For someone who just learned how to walk, he can sure move around pretty fast. Needless to say, Abby is less than thrilled with this new skill.

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009Turns out nothing gets Luke more fired up lately than something soft to jump on. Here he is burning off some energy on the couch pillows.
Luke’s New Talent
Thursday, October 22nd, 2009We’re not sure where he picked up this skill. Hopefully it’s a sign of good things to come when we hit the potty training phase.
Here Comes Winter
Wednesday, October 14th, 2009Since we skipped a season in Chicago and went straight to winter, we decided it was time to get Luke all outfitted for the cold (plus we knew it would be entertaining). Fortunately for us, Luke found a new toy during the try on process. The tag on his jacket.
Geaux Luke
Tuesday, October 13th, 2009Here’s Luke walking (and jabbering) across the living room in his “little” Drew Brees jersey. We say “little” because while Luke just turned 10 months old, he’s already fitting into 18 month old clothes.
Luke’s First Steps
Thursday, October 8th, 2009Luke’s finally putting it all together. He’s now taking 5-6 steps at a time. We’ve got the house childproofed so we’re all set in that dept. However, we just realized that with winter coming we may need to buy him some outdoor shoes. Ooops.
Vienne’s 1st Birthday
Thursday, October 1st, 2009Last weekend we went over to Joel & Bridget’s house to celebrate Vienne’s 1st birthday (this is where Luke goes for our babysitting/nanny share). We dressed Luke up a bit so he could show off his fancy cabana/summer/surfer beach wear. All that was missing from his ensemble was a little umbrella drink.
